IT Quality Assurance Analyst Sr.
CLE, OHOur Fortune 100 client is looking for a Senior IT Quality Assurance Analyst for a remote contract positiont. This role focuses on testing production-ready APIs and supporting reliable software releases. You will create risk-based test strategies, write positive and negative test plans, execute testing, and document defects with clear reproduction steps. The role requires experience testing headless applications, diagnosing issues, and working within Scrum or Agile processes. Candidates must work Eastern Time hours from the contiguous United States.
Required:
– Functional & Risk based testing including the creation and maintenance of risk-based test strategies and negative/positive test plans.
– API Testing experience (REST Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman/Newman). Proven experience working with headless applications.
– Experienced with Splunk and ability to independently diagnose system issues or bugs.
– Experienced with AzDO and Agile best practices.
– Excellent collaboration and written communication skills. Proven experience collaborating with developers, product owners, vendor representatives and non-technical analysts.
Plusses:
– Test Automation development and execution.
– Insurance knowledge/experience.
– Experience with UI testing.
