Change Management Consultant (Workday)
Fully RemoteOur direct, F100 client is looking for a lead-level Change Management Consultant to join a long-term project involving an implementation of Workday (migrating off of Peoplesoft). Qualified candidates will have a strong organizational change management background specifically with regards to technology implementations (qualified candidates MUST HAVE experience with a Workday implementation). This is a long-term contract position with the possibility for conversion (6-12 months initial contract length) that can be performed remotely but must follow an ET schedule (approx. 8am – 5pm ET).
Day-to-day responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough assessments to understand, identify and impact of changes coming
– Responsible for creating a detailed change management plan
– Implements change management strategies and communication plans, ensuring that activities are executed effectively and in a timely manner.
– Presents to stakeholders to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about the changes, their purpose, and the expected outcomes.
– Monitors progress of the change initiative
– Identify risks and resistance and work through solutioning and mitigate the risk.
– Take theory and make it applicable
– Collaborate within the workstream leads: CIO and CHRO
Required:
– Comprehensive Change Management experience for major organizational transformation (i.e. 30,000 employees or more)
– Workday experience from a content level
– Experience with large scale efforts across a distributed workforce
– Experience mediating risk and creating strategies to go with it.
– Experience with stakeholder interviews – speaking with various stakeholders, as this contractor will be working with C-suite leaders who are responsible for the company’s strategy and operations.
– Presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Excellent listening skills and interpersonal communication skills
– Ability to influence others, middle managers
– Must have a good temperament and be able to handle transformational change, as well as dealing with ambiguity
