Lead Instructional Designer

Our direct, F100 client is looking for a lead-level Instructional Designer to lead the development of high visibility learning solutions for a large Workday implementation. This role requires hands-on experience with Articulate, along with a strong foundation in instructional design principles and knowledge of Workday Learning.You’ll be responsible for analyzing learner needs, designing and developing engaging course materials, and supporting performance improvement initiatives across a variety of learning formats (eLearning, instructor-led, hybrid, and performance support). If you have a proven background in instructional design and are comfortable working with tools like MS Office, MS Teams, and learning platforms, we d love to hear from you. This is a contract position with the possibility for extension that can be performed remotely but must follow an ET schedule (approx. 8am – 5pm ET)

Day to day responsibilities:

– Design course material for online learning

– Performs analysis activities including task & audience analyses, usability sessions, and performance/skill gap research

– Designs and develops course materials for online learning, instructor-led (virtual, in-person and hybrid), performance support and media-based solutions

– Parses complex content and concepts into easier-to-understand sections

– Distributes draft course materials, solicits feedback, revises accordingly

Required:

– Background in learning and instructional design

– Expertise in Articulate (Advanced level)

– Experience creating learning assets (job aids, elearning) for large implementations of Workday

– Knowledge and familiarity with the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)

– Create end to end elearning using ADDIE

– Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite

– Comfortable using Microsoft Teams

– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

– Excellent time management skills

– Highly adaptable to change
